Incentives Given By Public Sector Undertakings

The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.
Taking into consideration the cause of NCC, due weightage will be given for this extra qualification, whenever any NCC Cadet appears for interview in this corporation.

Indian Airlines
Already giving preference to the “”B & “C” Certificate holders for appointment in the Security Section.

Hindustan Shipyard Ltd.
For direct recruitment in group “C” & “D” Posts, weightage in terms of marks is being given for extra curricular activities, which includes NCC for Staff Posts.

Dredging Corporation
To the extent possible, whenever recruitment is made, due consideration is being given at the time of interview to those having NCC Certificates.

Coal India Ltd.
Weightage for NCC Certificates is given for JD at School Level which is 2 marks and SD at College Level 4 marks at the time of selection of candidates.

Visakhapatnam Steel Project 
Favourable opinion on NCC cadets who otherwise possess the required qualification is generally formed while interviewing them for any of the posts.

National Hydroelectric Power Corp Ltd.
Due weightage will be given to NCC “B” & “C” Certificate qualified candidates while filling up the appropriate posts through direct recruitment.

Pawan Hans Ltd.
Candidates who have passed “B” & “C” Certificate of NCC will be given preference for the posts of group “B” & “C”.

Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.
For Fire Fighting Operator in Group “C”, NCC “C” Certificate has been prescribed as desirable qualification. Moreover at the time of Interview in group “C” Posts, candidates possessing NCC Certificate are given due weightage under the category of extra curricular activities.

National Building
Persons having NCC Certificates are given due consideration in group “B” & “C” Posts.

Indian Telephone Industries
Adequate weightage is being given to person with the background of NCC Training.

The National Small Industries Corp. Ltd.
NCC “B” & “C” Certificate holders are preferred for recruitment to the posts of group “B” & “C”.
